Where did the summer go?
We have a few fun sessions scheduled for the rest of the month and into September. Remember we have Stained Glass Classes Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 12pm, and evenings Tuesday and Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm. What a great time to bring out those glass projects! See you soon!
We will be CLOSED on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day.

Fusing Prices:
Small/medium mold rental, firing, slumping: $12 - $20
Large mold rental, firing, slumping: $25 - $30
Panel only fusing charge:
6" x 6" space = $6
12" x 12" space = $12
Class will include a brief introduction to the basics of glass fusing, materials used including dichroic glass, stringers, fracture, noodles, and frit, and the kiln firing process. Fired pieces will be available the next week after class. Students are asked to bring their own cutting tools. Wear closed-toe shoes.

Saturday, Sept. 11

$45 includes tools and materials
No skills needed for this class. Bring a friend or neighbor and come join us for this fun and exciting class. See if stained glass is something you would be interested in before making the investment in supplies and tools. We will show you step-by-step instructions on how to cut glass, pattern preparation, foiling, and soldering in order for you to complete your first stained glass panel, which you will take home with you. Wear closed-toe shoes.
Students will choose from the two patterns pictured above (approx. size: 5" x 6").

Friday, Sept. 10
6:30pm - 9pm
$25
In this workshop you will learn how to make a glass box. You will receive a kit with cut and foiled materials to make a 3" x 3" box. You will also learn how to use the Morton System to make the box pieces.
Bring your soldering iron if you have one. Wear closed-toe shoes.

Enjoy 2 hours of fun making several small pieces for jewelry including pendants, earrings, or pins. Class will include a brief intro to the basics of glass fusing, materials (glass and 3 jewelry findings), and kiln firing of the pieces made during the session. We will use stringers, noodles, frit, and dichroic glass. Fired pieces will be available the next week after class. Wear closed-toe shoes.
Bring your tools: cutter, runner, grozer, and a mosaic cutter if you have one.
